Default Any ideas when v4.0 will materialise?
I vaguely remember it being rumoured that it would be around this time, i.e. Autumn (Fall) 2008, any ideas anyone?

I sure hope so, Capture One is about to release their Pro version of C1-4 Oct 15th and Bibble shortly after with their new version 5, Silkypix needs a new release to keep up with the competition...or hopefully past it.

Good news, but automatic translation don't help to understand what's new .

I urge you to give us a quick description on what's new: a translation of the Beta Site is a must to convince us to wait for the new release.

Upgrade costs (already defined for the japonese version) would also be very much appreciated.

Unfortunately, again only "googlish" translation. From what I've understood from this translation, there seems to be dual preview mode, multi cpu/core support, dodge tool, improved RAW highlight recovery, selective editing, improved processing and preview speed, preview of unsharp mask sharpening, faster scrolling, and few more things, which I don't understand

I also tried to download and install the public beta. Unfortunately, it refuses to install on my laptop. I guess it's because my system is English and this beta may require Japanese OS? The installation terminates with some kind of error message, which I cannot read.

There is no confirmed upgrade price for the English Version yet. Shortcut still has to decide this.

Woo, looks like my (and presumably others') requests for exif editing is in.
